METROPOLITAN POLICE GEORGE MEDAL WINNERS 1956
Shown are Sgt. Norman George LOXLEY and Cst. Thomas OLIVER receiving the George Medal on 27th November 1956.
On the 2nd of December 1956 they responded to a fatal train crash at Barnes. As a result of their actions both men were awarded the George Medal.
