Cork helmet covered with smooth cloth in the Scottish style, plain cloth centre band, detailed chrome top rose with no ventilation holes (although the type with vent holes is known to exist. Scottish National Police Badge introduced in 1932 which superseded the Edinburgh City Police Coat of Arms. Two vent holes either side of the helmet
