Mick Creedon Chief Constable Derbyshire Constabulary
Mick Creedon took over as Chief Constable on October 1st 2007 having served as the Deputy Chief Constable. He started his career at Leicestershire Constabulary at the age of 22 after graduating from the University of Manchester. He spent the majority of his service working as a detective and rose to head up the specialist crime department before moving to Derbyshire Constabulary in 2003. Mr Creedon spent three years as Assistant Chief Constable Operations with Derbyshire Constabulary between 2003 and 2006
 
In 2006 he moved to work as the National Co-ordinator for Serious and Organised Crime for the Association of Chief Police Officers, where he held the rank of Deputy Chief Constable.

He is married with three children.
