METROPOLITAN POLICE 'A' DIVISION (WESTMINSTER) Copy of an old photo taken at a rifle match at Wimbledon (Wimbledon Cup?) circa 1867. Nice image of the old style helmets and the first wreath style plate that did have numbers in the centre. This image also appears at plate 69 in the book 'Victorian and Edwardian Crime and Punishment'.
