Wiltshire receives regional award for ‘Special’ work
Wiltshire Police have won first prize in a prestigious regional awards competition honouring the excellent work of members of the Special Constabulary.

The Arthur Ellis Trophy is awarded annually to recognise the work undertaken by the masses of volunteers who provide invaluable policing services throughout the eight South West region Police Forces.

Specials Paul Lewis and Julian Simms won the 2006 trophy for their work in supporting the Divisional Licensing Officer in the Melksham division of Wiltshire
